As I sit here writing this...i'm wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket, door open letting in the lovely cool breeze, drinking a pumpkin spice latte with a pumpkin candle lit...its like a FALL explosion in here...and i'm LOVING it!! Here in the south, after a brutally hot summer...this cool fall weather is like finding a giant pot of gold or winning the lottery or stumbling upon the worlds largest bowl of nutella {come on now...you know you would LOVE a giant bowl of nutella! Not only is the weather gorgeous in the fall, we have the beautiful colors of the leaves changing, the smells of campfires & crisp air, pumpkin flavored everything, time to break out your boot collection {yes!} and a new color palette of flowers that is just plain wonderful!! We love fall {can you tell} and we love to be apart of fall inspired weddings and parties!

So as summer draws to a close...and fall is peaking around the corner {waHoo!} It's time to get back on the wedding train! We have some good ones coming up this fall...so STAY tuned!

We can't talk about things we L♥ve without talking about those personal & creative touches that draw in your guests and make them a part of your special day...the Guest Book. For years the guest book was quite literally a nice pretty book that everyone signed when they arrived at the wedding...but NOW folks are getting creative and taking the guest book to a whole new level!!

Ok...so blog title a bit cheesy I know...but take a look at these images of Kati + Matthew beautiful wedding at one of our favorite venues The Farmhouse Inn and tell me that those 3 words {luscious lemony loveliness} don't immediately pop into your head! These MOSS girls were smiling bright when we opened up the "package" of images from the lovely Ashley of Hugghins Photography. Our gorgeous bride Kati came to us inspired from another MOSS wedding at The Farmhouse Inn {~ It's WARM Under the Oak Tree}. So our creative challenge was to create the casual vintage fAbuLouS feeling of Jessica + Mark purple wedding but with luscious pops of yellow!! {and by creative challenge I mean...an aWeSoMe challenge} Thank you Kati for the HUGE compliment of using our work as your inspiration and for also allowing us to get those creative juices flowing!!

In our line of work we are constantly stalking wedding & event industry blogs and websites for all that is nEw & fAbuLouS & fAnCy in the wedding world. And since we spend so much time immersing ourselves in all of these lovely things we thought we would share some of that love with you {our favorite fans!!} So prepare yourself to be inspired and maybe even sometimes to fall in LoVe with all the goodies. Shoes.... whats your style? So this week I bring to you my obsession, the thing that brings me much joy in this world...shoes! As I was doing my daily blog check-ups I came across a shoe that sparked my interest and well led me to think... what shoe would you do on your wedding day?

Yes, TOMS has come out with a wedding line (more obsessing being done) and well, they are fab! Funky, stylish, comfy and cute! Everything from white to sparkle to croche. After stalking their website and stumbling upon not only the brides shoes but the groom and wedding party I was inspired. I have always seen and loved those shots of bride's beautiful shoes on Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks and Vue Photography (just to name a few) but I didn't really take the time to consider how much the bride's shoes truly encompasses everything about them.

So, what would you do?? I found some O so to die for styles to fit all personalities. Do you go glamourous, casual, comfortable? Heels or flats? Boots or ballet? O the options.... and O the daydreaming about SHOES!

~ Sweet Summer treats

There are so many sweet moments and treats in life that we are lucky to be witness to in our line of work...being around a sWeeT couple like Leah + Nick we just couldn't help but smile. Their love for each other is just bursting at the seams and as sweet as can be!! Leah was the most laid back bride...just ready to marry her guy...she gave us lots of room to be creative {and crafty} with our designs. The fAbuLouS color combo {teal w/ pops of coral} had us pumped and ready from the very beginning! From the beautiful flowing fabric & twigs at the ceremony to the gorgeous teal linens and succulents at the reception...could not have been any sWeeTer for these MOSS girlz!! With the help of the aMaziNg Heather from Event Jolie the Duluth Festival Center was the perfect backdrop for a fabulous night! When we recieved the beautiful images from Andrea Taylor Studios we were like kids in a candy store...happy & giGgliNg about our sweet treats!! Lots of love and joy to the Happy Couple!

So this weekend was a busy one for the MOSS ladies!! First up we joined Kati + Matthew for their wedding at one of our favorite venues, The Farmhouse Inn. Here's a sneak peek but sTaY tUnEd for more images to come!!

Next we made our way out to Washington, GA for a small ceremony oVerfLoWinG with LOTS of love.
{Jillian's Grandmother-in-law} Grandma McCall & Marvin tied the knot at 82 years young :) There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to be apart of such a beautiful day. It just warms our hearts & proves to us that love knows no age limit. The pastor proclaimed them husband and wife, could barely get to the "you may now kiss the bride" part before Marvin leaned over, yelled "Come here baby" and gave her just the sweetest kiss. We wish Grandma McCall & Marvin so much joy and happiness in their new life together!

The weather in Atlanta these days has been ALL over the place. One day it's sunny & sandals...the next day it's windy & scarfs!! Thankfully it seems like the sunny is going to stick around now {suntans here we come!!} so we were pumped to kick off this sUnNy wedding season with Cortney + Nathan and their fabulous Lakeside affair. The arrangements were overflowing with Eucalyptus, hydrangea, calla lilies & roses...and of course a few twigs! There was no shortage of all things piNk and lots of lOvE to go around!

Its so hard to believe that we are already well into 2011 ~ time is FLYING by!! The weather outside is GORGEOUS giving us a little taste of the loveliness that Spring in Atlanta has to offer {I'll take these great temperatures without tons of Pollen any day!}

There was no shortage of Spring appeal and GORGEOUS views when Brittany + Nick tied the knot at The Vinings Club! There are lots of places that you can go to check out the city skyline...but view compare to this great location.

Ashley+Winston did just that ~ Their modern wedding at The King Plow Arts Center was full of life, color and a few outrageously wonderful details; us MOSS girls just couldn't get enough!! From the gorgeous hot pink peonies and crazy colorful orchids to the fun & prickly pincushions; these bouquets turned out to be bundles of colorful texture. We were light as air and just as happy as birds to be a part of the wedding of Andrea + Brandon. When Andrea told us her vision of a light & feathery affair we knew exactly what we needed to do. For her bridal bouquet we used delicate white peonies & white lisianthus along with purple sweet pea and purple lisianthus. To top it all off Andrea gave us a piece of her mother's beautiful lace wedding dress to wrap at the base of her bouquet. {So sweet and of course her "something old")! Since MOSS was created in 2009 we have been sooo lucky to work with so many amazing people and have had the opportunity to do some really great and funky things! Time for the next spotlight on a MOSS-y girl. This one is all about Jillian {otherwise known as Evil Twiggy}

Jillian has always been a "creative child". Growing up it was dance...every waking hour was spent taking classes, practicing and putting on performances...dance dance dance! She always loved anything and everything artistic but thought of it as only a hobby...until one day she realized that her ~creative juices~ could be put to good use as a career. So to design school she went and she couldn't get enough!

After design school she started working at an Architecture firm as an interior designer...there she met fellow MOSS-y ladies Annie & Ashley and the rest {as they say} is history.

Oh...1 more note...you might be wondering where the name ~Evil Twiggy~ comes into play. While the ladies were working on ideas for Jillian's wedding, she became OBSESSED with anything twiggy...twigs in vases, vases made out of twigs, twig balls, arbors made out of twigs...you name it...she loves it.

You might be asking youself how we came together to create MOSS Floral Design...Well...we met & became friends working together at a Design firm in Atlanta. When our friend Gabrielle started planning her wedding and asked for our help with the flowers & decor...we just knew that we couldn't pass it up!! Gabrielle's BIG day was a huge success (including the red velvet wedding cake & the bride's late night dive in the pool) MOSS was born and we haven't slowed down since!

So the moral of the story is:
